Patrick "Mack" McMurphy (born October 25, 1972) is an American police detective, best known for his involvement in the hunt for the Mad Batter serial killer. During that case and prior cases, he worked for the New York City Police Department and was often partnered with Grayson Gaynes. In early 2016, he accepted a lateral transfer to the Philadelphia Police Department.
