Aaron Waite (born 1988) is the narrator of several Overtwixt novels. He began his narrating journey by reading at night to his children, including such classics as The Hobbit, The Lord of the Rings, and The Wingfeather Saga. Thanks to his experience with recording and audio engineering, Waite made the jump to audiobook narration in April 2024. He has professionally narrated more than 11 books as of September 2025, mostly in the fantasy genre.

In February 2025, R.L. Akers selected Waite to narrate the Overtwixt novels due to his incredible facility bringing a rich cast of characters to life:

[Waite's] talent goes beyond mere accents, rich and convincing as they are. He embodies the personality of each character so well that you feel your book really is being read by a cast of distinct and award-winning actors. What's more, he "feels" the mood and intent of narrative passages, intuiting the proper performance...

Narrations

Overtwixt stories narrated by Waite include:

  1. Overtwixt: Welcome to the World of Bridges (2025)
  2. Escape from Overtwixt (2025)

Official Bio

Aaron Waite is a hopeful author, biannual blogger, voice actor, and audiobook narrator who is in love with and bad at FromSoft games. He resides in the place where the air hurts his face because if it’s good enough for Stephen King, it’s good enough for him.

That, and there's no spiders. Aaron's wife hates spiders.

His vocal influences include Rob Paulsen, Kate Reading, Michael Kramer, Jeff Hays, Roger Clark, Matt Mercer, Andy Serkis, Jennifer Hale, Mel Blanc, John C. McGinley, and John DiMaggio. When not in the booth, he also writes fantasy novels and enjoys taking video games and baseball far too seriously.
