Jesse Lewis

Jesse Lewis is the original illustrator of the Overtwixt series of Fantasy / Young Adult stories, beginning with the very first novel. As the the author stated in the acknowledgements of that book:

No one has done more to bring Overtwixt to life than Jesse Lewis, whose illustrations perfectly capture the look and feel of the nilands themselves, not to mention their many citizens (and denizens!).

Lewis's illustrations are so integral to the storytelling of Overtwixt that they are often noted in professional reviews of the novels. IndieReader called his work on Overtwixt "evocative," while Kirkus Reviews noted that "[his] sketchy illustrations boldly define myriad individuals."

Jesse Lewis is an award-winning published illustrator and graphic artist, who specializes in breathing life into worlds beyond our own and the characters that reside within them. After studying for and attaining his bachelor’s degree in fine arts at Savannah College of Art & Design, Jesse went on to expand his skills through numerous book-, video game-, and animation projects both within the U.S. and around the world.

While always pursuing continued development of his own skillset, Jesse has also kindled a passion for sharing his knowledge and experiences by educating new generations of aspiring artists.
