Jennifer Thompson (born October 23, 1993) was the seventh and final victim of a serial killer known as the Mad Batter. Like several previous Mad Batter victims, Thompson was brunette; however, she had never attended Barbera Academy High School. Thompson worked professionally as an escort, operating under work name Rhapsody. Matteo Di Buca was known to number among Thompson's regular clients for at least a year prior to her death.

Thompson's body was discovered in a vacant apartment in the Lower East Side of Manhattan on February 29, 2016. Like previous Mad Batter victim Alyssa Lori, her body had been staged: lying on her back, hands folded peacefully over her chest, lightly gripping a long-stem rose that had been dyed gray. As with Lori, investigators theorized that the "gray rose" represented the killer's attempt to taunt New York City Police Department detective Grayson "Gray" Gaynes, whose deceased wife Rose Moynihan had been another Mad Batter victim.
